 Breast Reduction Recovery Time

Breast reduction recovery time can vary.  Each patient is unique when it comes to recovery time, but we have found that most women return to work in approximately one week. When larger breast reductions are performed along with the laser bra, some women will take up to one and one half weeks or even two weeks from work. Even though a woman has returned to work, she has not completely healed. Most women resume their normal activities by three weeks. Heavy physical exercise involving impact or chest wall trauma is usually postponed for six weeks.  Please give us a call if you have anymore questions about breast reduction recovery time.

Beyond Recovering from a Breast Reduction

Breast reduction specialist Dr. Grant Stevens.  In the past four years Dr. Stevens has performed hundreds of breast reduction surgeries or Stevens Laser Bra surgeries in the Beverly Hills area. He and his patients remain incredibly impressed with the longevity of the postoperative results and the "perkiness" of the breasts. breast reduction recoveryThe procedure generally takes two hours and the swelling and discomfort are minimal. Blood loss and bruising is reduced and recovery time is generally 5-7 days with full activity resumed following three weeks of breast reduction recovery.  This makes it easy for anyone with a busy life style in Beverly Hills or anywhere in the world to undergo a breast reduction operation.

Candidates for the laser breast reduction surgery utilizing The Stevens Laser Bra are women who have large sagging breasts. Age is not a deciding factor for this procedure, but patients must be healthy. Because the nipple is never detached, loss of sensation is minimal and some people report increased sensation once the heavy tissue has been removed. In addition, a majority of patients are able to breast feed.  We are more than qualified to help you with your breast reduction recovery questions.
